I’m a trader, and I’ve been completely broke many times in my life. There were times when I had nothing left. I lost all my money trading—not just once, but over and over again. It happened because I was constantly learning new trading strategies while working a side job. There were times when I lost three months’ worth of pay, six months’ worth, and even an entire year’s salary.Yeah, I lost it all trading.
If I could bounce back from all of that, then why can’t you? That’s why I want to share a few things you should always keep in mind. If you ever find yourself completely broke or defeated, remember that you still have the power to get back on your feet.
First, Find a Job and Build a Stable Income
What I think is that if you’re currently short on money, your first step should be to find a job—whether it’s at a company, a factory, a store, or somewhere else. Don’t waste time. Start today.
Because the more time you waste, the further behind you can fall in life. It’s not like you can’t find a job anywhere in America. You can find something if you’re willing to look and put in the effort.
The more you put things off, the more you’ll fall behind. Don’t lie to yourself and set yourself up to lose. You can lie to everyone else in the world, but lying to yourself will only hurt you.
I’m not saying you have to spend your entire life working for someone else. The goal is to save enough money to reach your target and build a financial cushion so you’re not left with nothing again.
Because if you want to start a business or a startup, you need money, right? Working a job can help you build that starting capital.
So don’t keep delaying it. Go out there and find a job today.
Start Small and Build Your Business From Scratch
Look, whatever money you earn from your job, you’re still limited in how you can use it. So, in my opinion, if you follow my advice, you can start a small business. I’ll explain everything clearly, point by point, including whether you should start an online or offline business.

Offline Business:
From what I see around me, everyone—from 14- or 15-year-olds to people in their 50s—is now focused on online businesses. That means there’s much less competition in many offline businesses. If you can take advantage of that opportunity, you may be able to build a profitable business.
I have plenty of offline business ideas that I could share with you, but you couldn’t cover them all in just one blog post. So, here are profitable offline business ideas to consider. With a small investment, you can get started, build your customer base, and gradually grow your small business into a larger one.
egg shop, restaurant, parlour, chicken shop, reselling business, street food You can start these with a small investment if you want.
Online Business:
If you’re not interested in starting an offline business, you can start an online business instead. These days, many people are building successful online businesses and even becoming millionaires.
To start an online business, all you really need is a laptop and a mobile phone. You’ll also need a little bit of capital to get started.
The smaller you start your business and the more you grow it over time, the more experience you’ll gain. You’ll always remember how you built your business from the ground up. More importantly, if you ever lose money or your business goes through a difficult period, you’ll know how to build it back up again.
Always remember, starting a business isn’t about having a lot of money. Many of the biggest companies in the world started with very little.
I know this from my own experience. I used to save money from my businesses and invest it, and that’s how I eventually got into trading. Now, my online businesses are running smoothly, and I’ve been able to set aside money specifically for trading. I no longer have to worry as much about potential trading losses because I’ve built everything with discipline and kept my business and trading capital separate.
Service:

You can do this because it was the very first job I ever had, and it helped me earn my first $1,000. Back then, I looked after an elderly person’s home, did their grocery shopping, and handled various errands for them.
You can do this kind of work, too, if you want. At first, I searched everywhere for a job but couldn’t find one. Then I had an idea: if I could help someone and earn some money in return, why not give it a try? When you provide a useful service to someone, they’ll pay you for your time and effort.
There are many service-based jobs out there that people often overlook because they don’t want to do them. But many people have started with these kinds of jobs and eventually built successful careers and even large businesses from them. You just have to think creatively and look for opportunities around you.
There are plenty of jobs where you can provide a service and get paid. It’s completely up to you. I’m just giving you the idea and sharing my own experience. What you do with it is your choice.
Keep your eyes and ears open and pay attention to what’s happening around you. You’ll find plenty of opportunities if you look for them. For example, you could offer cleaning services, private tutoring, or other services based on your skills and experience.
If you have a skill or experience that people need, you can promote your services through Facebook Marketplace or a Facebook page. Once people start finding you, you may be surprised by how much work can come your way.
Don’t just sit at home and waste your time. That could be one of your biggest mistakes. Wasting time is one of the worst things you can do when you’re trying to improve your life.
Make Money Online:

Many people these days are building businesses online and making a lot of money from them. “Make Money Online” has become a major search term. If you search for “Make Money Online” on YouTube, you’ll find countless videos about different ways to make money.
In your free time, watch some of these videos, listen to what people are saying, and pay attention to the strategies and ideas they recommend. Many people claim to make a lot of money through YouTube or blogging, and I’ve seen plenty of these stories in YouTube videos. I’m a blogger myself, so I’m sharing what I’ve learned from my own experience.
YouTube, in particular, can be a great way to build an audience and eventually make money. If you can consistently create 20 to 30 high-quality pieces of content, and even one of them goes viral, it can give your channel a huge boost. You may start gaining subscribers and watch time much faster. Once you meet YouTube’s current eligibility requirements, you can apply for monetization and start earning from your content.
On Instagram, you can create 20- to 30-second Reels and use them to build an audience. If you grow your account to 10,000, 50,000, or even 100,000 followers, you may start getting sponsorship and brand-deal opportunities.
So don’t waste your time. Try something and keep learning. There are plenty of opportunities to make money online if you’re willing to put in the work.
Instagram can be especially powerful because a single Reel can sometimes get millions of views in a short period of time. The key is to create content that people actually want to watch. Focus on quality and try to capture people’s attention within the first few seconds. If you can get someone to stop scrolling and watch your video, there’s a better chance they’ll watch more of it and engage with your content.
When a Reel performs well, Instagram may show it to a much larger audience, which can lead to more views and followers. If you consistently create good content and some of your Reels go viral, your follower count can grow quickly.
I’ve seen many people make money through both Instagram and YouTube. If you’re willing to learn, experiment, and stay consistent, there are plenty of opportunities available to you.
